Psychiatric Beds Report

Overview

As a freelance contractor, I wrote, produced, and animated this fully 3D-animated advocacy video for Treatment Advocacy Center reporting on the nationwide shortage of psychiatric inpatient beds. This project was my first engagement with the organization and led directly to my hire as their full-time Creative Head. I wrote the script from concept through final draft, then built a full production timeline and budget to deliver the finished video within a one-month deadline. The budget allocated billable hours for character design, environment design, texturing, rigging, animation, audio processing, video editing, color grading, and sound design with realistic estimates that I met to keep the project on schedule. I sourced and negotiated with a professional voice talent, directing her recording sessions to match the script's tone and pacing.
